This position offers base locations in:

  • Alexandra, Louisiana
  • Mesa, Arizona
  • Harlingen, Texas

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

The Pilot is primarily responsible for:

  • Accountability for the safe and efficient operation of the aircraft.
  • Ensuring the safety and well-being of all crew members and passengers onboard.
  • Maintaining responsibility for the airworthiness of the aircraft prior to flight.
  • Assessing and integrating relevant weather factors influencing the flight.
  • Strict adherence to all applicable flight regulations and air traffic control procedures.
  • Diligent utilization of all provided tools and aids designed to maximize safety during both ground and air operations.
  • Demonstrating unwavering ownership of safety in every aspect of their duties, performance, and professional conduct to ensure the successful outcome of every flight.

Skills and Qualifications:

Prospective candidates should possess:

  • A valid FAA Airmen Certificate.
  • A current FAA First Class Medical Certificate.
  • A valid FCC Radiotelephone Operator’s permit.
  • Airbus 320 Type Rating is preferred.
  • A minimum of 1500 hours of total flight time.
  • A valid US passport.
  • The ability to maintain a valid passport throughout employment.
  • The ability to travel unrestricted to and from the United States.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.

Physical Demands:

The demands described herein are representative of those necessary for successful performance in this role. This position regularly requires talking or hearing. Frequent requirements include standing, walking, using hands for tasks (finger, handle, or feel), and reaching with hands and arms. Occasional requirements include sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling. The role necessitates frequently lifting and moving up to 10 pounds and occasionally lifting and moving up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
