Minimum Pilot-in-Command Requirements
Candidates must strictly adhere to the following professional prerequisites:
- License Requirement: Must possess a current and valid Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL).
- Accepted License Holders: Applications are welcomed from pilots holding EASA or SACAA licenses.
- Minimum PIC Flight Time: A verifiable total of 3,000 hours acting as Pilot-in-Command (PIC) is mandatory.
- Specific PIC Experience: The entirety of the required 3,000 PIC hours must have been accumulated operating multi-pilot, heavy transport category aircraft (aircraft with a Maximum Take-Off Weight (MTOW) exceeding 20 metric tonnes).
- Medical Certification: Must hold a current Class 1 Aviation Medical Certificate.
- English Proficiency: Demonstration of English Language Proficiency (ELP) at ICAO Level 4 or higher.
