German Airways | First Officer

German Airways is seeking experienced First Officers to join its permanent, full-time team based in Cologne/Bonn and Berlin, Germany. Operating a modern Embraer E190 fleet, this role supports ACMI, wet-lease, and charter assignments for leading European airlines, with prospects for accelerated Captain training.

About the Role

As an experienced First Officer, you will contribute to German Airways' ACMI, wet-lease, and charter operations utilising the Embraer E190 fleet. This position involves supporting the airline's commitment to service, quality, flexibility, and precision for premier European airline clients. The role offers the potential for accelerated Captain training on the Embraer E190, fostering career progression within a flexible, quality-focused, and team-oriented environment.

Requirements

• An EASA ATPL(A)
• An EASA Class 1 medical certificate
• ICAO English Language Proficiency Level 4 or higher
• Native German speakers or German at B2 level; alternatively, native English speakers or English at B2 level.
• Minimum of 4,000 hours of total flight experience.
• Minimum of 1,000 hours on aircraft exceeding 20 tonnes.
• Unrestricted EU passport.
• Authorization to work in the EU.
• Valid security-reliability clearance.
• Abitur, Fachhochschulreife, or a subject-specific university entrance qualification.
• Demonstrated leadership qualities, a high level of personal responsibility, flexibility, teamwork, and strong commitment.
