Elite Sensor Operator and Instructor - Flex-Deployable

This unique role offers a challenging blend of responsibilities, requiring expertise both in the field and as an instructor.
Serving at the Forefront of Aviation Technology:
The chosen candidate will be recognized as the most experienced Predator Sensor Operator within the company, holding the crucial role of Test Sensor Operator, Instructor Sensor Operator, and Sensor Operator Flight Examiner. Direct consultation with executive management on all aspects of Predator aircraft development is integral to this position. As a subject matter expert, the selected individual will possess comprehensive knowledge of the Predator Unmanned Aircraft System, encompassing hardware, software, ground control station operations, and experimental testing procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Excellence: Execute duties as an Experimental Test and Evaluation Sensor Operator, Instructor Sensor Operator, and Sensor Operator Flight Examiner.
- Mission Expertise: Skillfully operate the Predator Family of Unmanned Air Vehicles, including mission planning, briefings, execution, and debriefings.
- Instructional Leadership: Guide UAV student sensor operators through all facets of ground and flight operations, delivering comprehensive academic and in-flight instruction.
- Regulatory Compliance: Maintain strict adherence to all governing regulations, encompassing service guidance, company protocols, and Federal Aviation Administration regulations.
- Technical Expertise: Serve as a subject matter expert, consulting directly with engineering and senior management on Predator aircraft development.
- Procedural Development: Design and validate procedures for newly integrated aircraft features.
- Training Support: Contribute to training syllabus and courseware development through research, content creation, and presentation design.
Qualifications:
- A High School diploma or equivalent is required. A four-year technical degree or trade school equivalency is preferred, although equivalent professional or military experience in UAV or aviation may be substituted.
- Twelve or more years of experience as a sensor operator or in operating complex, integrated systems (preferably airborne sensors).
- Seven or more years of experience in UAV operation or aviation with significant deployment experience.
- Advanced understanding of UAVs, tactical reconnaissance, and aviation principles.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally.
- Ability to obtain an FAA Class II medical certificate.
- Exceptional analytical, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Strong computer proficiency.
- Ability to work independently and within a team, including extended hours and travel as needed.
