About the Role
Gama Aviation is actively seeking highly skilled and dedicated Captains to join its distinguished UK Flight Crew team. This full-time position is for an experienced King Air 200 pilot, based at either Bournemouth or Bristol, contributing to a world-class fixed-wing Air Ambulance operation. The successful candidate will play a critical role in supporting vital client contracts, including those with the Channel Islands of Guernsey and Jersey, as well as various insurance and assistance providers, ensuring the delivery of exceptional aviation services.
Key Responsibilities
- Operating multi-crew King Air 200 aircraft for critical Air Ambulance missions.
- Ensuring the paramount safety and efficiency of all flight operations.
- Maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Contributing to the seamless delivery of world-class service to clients.
Skills, Qualifications, and Experience Required
Prospective candidates must meet the following essential criteria:
- Possession of a valid UK CAA Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL) with Multi-Engine Instrument Rating (ME/IR).
- A current King Air 200 Type Rating with a minimum of 500 hours on type.
- Successfully completed a Command assessment.
- A minimum total flight time of 1500 hours.
- Demonstrable in-depth knowledge of Air Operator Certificate (AOC) requirements.
- Proficiency in basic IT skills, including experience with MS Office applications.
- A flexible and adaptable approach to rostering to ensure a smooth and efficient day-to-day operation.
- Candidates are required to reside or be willing to relocate to within a 60-minute commuting distance of Bournemouth and/or Bristol airports.
