GOL Linhas Aéreas | A330/350 Captain
GOL Linhas Aéreas Inteligentes, a Brazilian scheduled passenger carrier, is seeking an experienced Captain for its widebody, long-haul A330 operations. This permanent, on-site role is based in Rio de Janeiro - RJ, Brazil, with the final base location to be determined post-selection. The Captain will hold full command authority, ensuring operational safety, regulatory compliance, and continuity of flight operations.
About the Role
The A330 Captain is responsible for exercising command authority from flight reporting until the aircraft's handover, ensuring adherence to RBAC 121 and the Código Brasileiro de Aeronáutica (CBA). This includes maintaining operational safety, managing the crew, and representing the company. The role involves ensuring the airworthiness of the aircraft, managing flight planning, and responding to various operational and safety-related events.
Requirements
- Completed secondary education (Ensino Médio completo).
- A minimum of five years of experience as a Captain specifically on the A330 aircraft.
- A valid Brazilian Airline Transport Pilot Licence (Licença de Piloto de Linha Aérea - PLA).
- A valid A330 type rating (Certificado de Habilitação Técnica - CHT válida para o Airbus A330).
- A valid Brazilian Aeronautical Medical Certificate (Certificado Médico Aeronáutico - CMA).
- A Brazilian passport valid for more than six months.
- Valid US B1, B2, and D visas.
- Knowledge of applicable aviation regulations, including RBAC 121 and the Código Brasileiro de Aeronáutica (CBA).
- Familiarity with Safety Management Systems (Sistema de Gerenciamento de Segurança Operacional - SGSO).
- Proficiency in A330 operational procedures.
- Experience with widebody aircraft and long-haul flight operations.
- ICAO English language proficiency level 4 or above.
- Availability to relocate, as the final base will be determined after the selection process.
