Airline Captain (PIC) Position - Freebird Airlines
Freebird Airlines, a dynamic and growing European carrier, is actively seeking highly experienced and professional Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL) holders to join its flight operations team as Captains (Pilot in Command).
This is an exceptional career opportunity for seasoned aviators ready to take on the responsibilities of commanding modern commercial aircraft. While previous type rating on the Airbus A320 family is beneficial, it is not a prerequisite as comprehensive and fully sponsored type rating training will be provided to successful candidates.
Minimum Candidate Requirements and Experience
Freebird Airlines mandates strict compliance with the following professional qualifications and experience criteria to ensure the highest standards of safety and operational excellence:
Flight Time and Experience
- A minimum of 4,000 hours total flight experience is required.
- Candidates must possess a minimum of 4,000 flight hours on aircraft with a Maximum Take-Off Weight (MTOW) equal to or greater than 27,000 kg.
- Applicants must demonstrate a minimum of 500 hours Pilot in Command (PIC) experience on the Airbus A320 family type or a comparable category of aircraft or higher.
- A minimum of three (3) years of experience operating as an airline pilot is mandatory.
Licensing and Documentation
- The successful applicant must hold a valid Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL).
- Licence holders from both EASA and ICAO jurisdictions are invited to apply.
- A valid Class 1 Medical Certificate must be maintained throughout employment.
- Candidates must possess a minimum ICAO English Language Proficiency (ELP) level of 4.
Professional and Personal Attributes
- The applicant must have successfully completed mandatory military service (where applicable).
- A completely clean record is required, including the absence of any criminal record or criminal archive history.
- Candidates must confirm that they have received no administrative penalty from any Civil Aviation Authority and have not been involved in any aviation-related accident.
- The successful candidate must be willing to relocate to Antalya, Turkey, to support operational demands.
