ForeFlight is looking for a pilot to join our Pilot Support team. You'll provide fast and friendly support via email and phone to ForeFlight customers around the world. We are looking for a pilot who loves to help others and has a passion for our products and company. Technical skills are important - you should know your way around an iPad, iPhone, and the latest ADS-B and GPS accessories.
You will provide “it was so good they couldn’t stop talking about it” customer service via email for ForeFlight apps. You’ll also be responsible for occasional phone support. While training, you’ll be virtually working side-by-side with members of our Pilot Support team. Once you are fully up to speed, you will be expected to answer 10-20 emails per hour. This is a significant volume, so be sure that you’re ready and able to handle that capacity day after day. Research skills and empathy are required, applied daily, and will enable you to succeed.
In addition, you have to be an excellent writer who enjoys writing. Our customers love when we get back to them within 10 minutes with a clear, concise, and friendly answer. Great writing is key.
This position is for full-time employment, based in one of our offices in Austin or Houston, TX, Portland, ME; or in one of our remote-eligible states listed on our Careers page. Given that we support our customers 24/7, you must be willing to work weekends, holidays and on-call support.
