About the Role
The Cabin Crew Member is integral to FlySafair's commitment to passenger safety and customer satisfaction. The successful candidate will operate within a dynamic environment, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays, including early morning sign-ons and late evening sign-offs.
Key Responsibilities
- Continuously ensures compliance with all applicable safety policies and procedures, prioritizing passenger and crew well-being above all.
- Executes all activities efficiently and professionally to foster a positive, memorable, and safe passenger experience.
- Promotes a high level of integrity and professionalism in all interactions and operational duties.
- Maintains a high standard of administrative compliance pertaining to all cabin operations.
Minimum Requirements
Applicants must meet the following non-negotiable criteria:
- A Grade 12 certificate or an equivalent qualification.
- A current and valid South African Civil Aviation Authority (SACAA) Cabin Crew License.
- A current and valid Avmed DD50 Medical Certificate.
- A current and valid Dangerous Goods Certificate.
- A current and valid Ditching Certificate.
- A current and valid Fire Fighting Certificate.
- Possession of a valid South African driver’s licence and access to personal motor vehicle transport.
- Demonstrated Level 4 English language proficiency.
- Medically fit for duty and able to swim proficiently.
- Willingness and availability to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays, including early morning sign-ons or late evening sign-offs.
