Cabin Crew Member / Aviation Safety & Service Specialist
A reputable aviation organization seeks to appoint a dedicated and highly professional individual to the permanent role of Cabin Crew Member. Based in Johannesburg (JHB), the successful candidate will be pivotal in maintaining the highest standards of safety compliance and delivering exceptional customer service excellence, ensuring a positive passenger journey.
Key Responsibilities
The incumbent will be entrusted with crucial operational and safety mandates, including:
- Continuously upholding and enforcing rigorous adherence to all applicable aviation safety policies, procedures, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Ensuring the efficient and proactive execution of all inflight activities that contribute directly to a positive and seamless passenger experience.
- Consistently promoting and modeling a high level of professional integrity and ethical conduct within the operational environment.
- Maintaining a consistently high standard of administrative accuracy and regulatory compliance documentation.
Mandatory Requirements and Qualifications
Candidates must satisfy the following minimum criteria. Please note that all aviation certifications must be current and valid (non-negotiable):
Education and Licensing:
- A Grade 12 Certificate or recognized equivalent qualification.
- Current and Valid SACAA Certification (Non-Negotiable):
- SACAA Cabin Crew License.
- Avmed DD50 Medical Certificate.
- Dangerous Goods Certificate.
- Ditching Certificate.
- Fire Fighting Certificate.
- Demonstrated Level 4 English language proficiency (spoken and written).
General Prerequisites:
- Possession of a valid South African driver’s license and unrestricted access to a personal motor vehicle (non-negotiable requirement for operational travel).
- Must be medically fit for operational duties and demonstrate the ability to swim.
- Willingness and capability to work flexible shifts, including early morning sign-ons, late evening sign-offs, weekends, and public holidays, based on operational scheduling.
