Role Overview
The Cabin Crew Member is instrumental in upholding FlySafair's commitment to safety, service excellence, and operational integrity. The successful candidate will be responsible for the welfare and comfort of passengers, ensuring strict adherence to aviation regulations and company policies, while fostering a positive and welcoming environment onboard.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure continuous adherence to all applicable safety policies, procedures, and aviation regulations.
- Execute all duties efficiently to deliver an exceptional and positive passenger experience.
- Uphold and promote the highest standards of integrity in all interactions and operations.
- Maintain meticulous administrative compliance in accordance with company standards.
Essential Requirements
- A Grade 12 certificate or an equivalent qualification is mandatory.
- Candidates must possess the following current and valid (non-negotiable) certifications:
- South African Civil Aviation Authority (SACAA) Cabin Crew License
- Avmed DD50 Medical Certificate
- Dangerous Goods Certificate
- Ditching Certificate
- Fire Fighting Certificate
- A valid South African driver's license and reliable personal transportation are essential (non-negotiable).
- Demonstrated English language proficiency at NQF Level 4 or equivalent.
- Applicants must be medically fit for aviation duties and proficient in swimming.
- A flexible approach to working hours is required, including willingness to work shifts, weekends, public holidays, and accommodate irregular early morning sign-ons or late evening sign-offs.
