The Junior Cabin Crew Professional is primarily responsible for maintaining an unwavering commitment to aviation safety, rigorous compliance, and superior passenger service delivery. This permanent position, based in Cape Town, requires an individual who demonstrates exceptional professionalism, unquestionable integrity, and a proactive approach to operational excellence within the cabin environment.
Key Responsibilities
The incumbent ensures operational success by focusing on the following core areas:
- Maintains rigorous adherence to all applicable safety policies, procedures, and aviation regulatory standards (SACAA).
- Ensures the seamless and efficient execution of all in-flight activities necessary to achieve a positive and memorable passenger experience.
- Continuously promotes and upholds the highest level of personal and professional integrity and ethical conduct within the workplace.
- Guarantees a high standard of administrative compliance and accurate record-keeping related to all operational duties.
Mandatory Requirements
Candidates must meet all of the following essential criteria to be considered for this role:
Education and Certification (Non-Negotiable)
- Successful completion of Grade 12 or an equivalent qualification.
- Possession of a current and valid South African Civil Aviation Authority (SACAA) Cabin Crew License.
- Current and valid Avmed DD50 Medical Certificate.
- Current certification in Dangerous Goods, Ditching Procedures, and Fire Fighting Techniques.
Operational and Logistical Requirements
- Minimum Level 4 English language proficiency (spoken and written).
- Valid South African driver’s licence and unrestricted access to own reliable motor vehicle.
- Demonstrated medical fitness, including the ability to swim proficiently.
- Willingness to accommodate flexible working schedules, including shifts, early morning sign-ons, late evening sign-offs, weekends, and public holidays.
