Essential Job Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following tasks:
- Conduct thorough pre-flight planning, utilizing all available weather information and adhering to Company policies, procedures, and Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs).
- Ensure the airworthiness of the aircraft in accordance with FARs and Company policies and procedures by conducting comprehensive preflight inspections.
- Guarantee safe and compliant flight operations by meticulously planning fuel requirements and adhering to all applicable regulations and policies.
- Safely, efficiently, and effectively operate the aircraft during the designated duty period, following the Captain's instructions, FARs, and Company policies and procedures.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the aircraft's systems, relevant FARs, manuals, policies, procedures, and other relevant instructions.
- Communicate effectively with the crew and passengers regarding turbulent weather conditions or any other operational factors affecting the flight.
- Complete the load manifest accurately for each flight.
- Contribute to the on-time and reliable operation by adhering to all report times, departure times, and minimum turn times.
- Assist with and ensure the proper handling of aircraft, passengers, baggage, and cargo while at the terminal.
- Maintain regular and reliable attendance according to Company procedures and practices.
- Project a professional appearance and adhere to the Company uniform dress code.
- Conduct oneself professionally at all times while on duty, observing the Rules of Conduct for all associates as outlined in the Flight Operations Manual, Employee Handbook, and other related policies and procedures.
- Continuously engage in professional development opportunities to enhance performance and abilities.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Company and Chief Pilot.
