Fly Aeolus | PA-46 Captain

About the Role

Fly Aeolus is actively seeking experienced freelance Captains to join its expanding operations. This exciting opportunity involves piloting Cirrus SR22 and PA46-500TP aircraft, undertaking fractional ownership flights, and ensuring the highest standards of client satisfaction and aviation safety. Positions are available across multiple European locations, including Liège, Berlin, Hamburg, Kulmbach, and Charleroi.

Requirements

• Valid CPL (Commercial Pilot Licence) with Instrument Rating (IR) validation.
• Valid FAA (Federal Aviation Administration) licence, specifically for the Liège base.
• A minimum of 500 hours of total flight experience.
• At least 200 hours of flight experience on single-piston aircraft.
• A minimum of 50 hours of Instrument Flight Rules (IFR) flight time, including a minimum of 15 hours flown at night.
• Completion of five IFR flights on a single-piston aircraft within the past 90 days. This must include three instrument approaches and have been performed in a single-pilot role, or a valid instrument approach check.
• Recent completion of three take-offs and landings at night in a single-pilot role within the past 90 days, or a valid night take-off and landing check.
• Successful completion of training for the Cirrus SR22 and/or PA46-500TP aircraft.
• Willingness for local cooperation, with relocation not being a requirement.

Qualifications

• Candidates must hold a CPL or ATPL (Airline Transport Pilot Licence).
• Familiarity with both SR-20 and SR-22 aircraft is advantageous, though not type-rated candidates will be considered.
