Aviation Training Specialist

Role Overview

The Aviation Training Specialist is responsible for conducting comprehensive pilot ground and simulator training for clients enrolled in core, specialty, and enrichment training programs. This role involves the development and preparation of high-quality training materials to effectively meet client needs in accordance with applicable curricula and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging and informative pilot ground and simulator training sessions.
  • Develop and refine training materials, including presentations, manuals, and simulator scenarios.
  • Ensure training content aligns with client-specific requirements and industry best practices.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of aviation regulations and training standards.
  • Participate in the company's DOT Drug and Alcohol testing program.

Qualifications

  • Possession of an unrestricted Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate or an ICAO member state Airline Transport Pilot License is required.
  • Alternatively, if an ATP is not held, the candidate must meet the requirements of 14 CFR part 61.153 and 14 CFR part 61.64 without a Supervised Operating Experience (SOE) limitation.
  • A minimum of one unrestricted Pilot-In-Command (PIC) type rating is mandatory.
  • Willingness and ability to participate in the company's DOT Drug and Alcohol testing program.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to develop and deliver effective training programs.
