FlightSafety International | First Officer

FlightSafety International is seeking a qualified First Officer (FO) to serve as a Second in Command (SIC) for pilot training programs at their DFW Airport, TX, US, 75261 location. This role supports internal and external customer pilots requiring an SIC for multi-crew aircraft training, ensuring operational readiness without performing instructional duties.

About the Role

The First Officer will act as a competent SIC for clients attending recurrent, initial, and generic training courses who do not have a designated co-pilot. Responsibilities include maintaining currency and qualification across various assigned programs and aircraft types, supporting Part 142, Part 135, and non-FAA clients. This position focuses on providing SIC support during simulator training sessions.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two to three years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Commercial Pilot Certificate (CPL) with appropriate category, class, and instrument ratings.
• Minimum of 450 hours of total flight time.
• Fluency in English, encompassing speaking, understanding, reading, and writing.
• Demonstrated strong cockpit verbal communication skills.
• Ability to interact professionally with customers.
• Capacity to adapt to changing schedules and high-pressure situations.
• Potential requirement for a second language at certain Learning Centers.
• Physical ability to access and operate simulator controls.
• Compliance with OFAC and export-control requirements.
• Eligibility to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance may be required.
• Must be a U.S. Person or otherwise eligible for export authorization where applicable.
