About the Role:
The Flight Instructor plays a pivotal role in delivering exceptional ground and simulator-based flight instruction. Adhering to stringent aviation regulations and FlightSafety's renowned training principles, this individual will guide trainees through core, specialty, and enrichment courses.
Responsibilities Include:
- Providing engaging and effective ground and simulator flight instruction tailored to individual client needs.
- Developing and refining comprehensive training materials aligned with applicable curriculum standards.
- Evaluating trainee progress, recommending qualifications, and identifying areas for further development.
- Maintaining meticulous training records to ensure accurate documentation of client progress and achievements.
- Proactively identifying and addressing potential training challenges.
- Remaining current on all regulatory requirements and maintaining required Instructor qualifications.
Qualifications:
- An unwavering commitment to aviation safety and a deep understanding of industry standards and practices.
- A strong foundation in common aviation regulations and their practical application.
- Excellent classroom management and instructional delivery skills, with the ability to inspire and engage trainees.
- Proven experience in effectively communicating complex information and fostering a positive learning environment.
- Strong customer service orientation and the ability to build positive relationships with clients from diverse backgrounds.
- Openness to feedback and a commitment to continuous professional development.
Required Credentials:
- Unrestricted ATP certificate or an equivalent ICAO member state Airline Transport Pilot License.
- Candidates without an ATP certificate must meet the requirements outlined in 14 CFR Part 61.153 and 14 CFR Part 61.64 (without a Supervised Operating Experience limitation).
- At least one unrestricted PIC type rating.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience in FAR Part 135, FAR Part 121, or military training environments.
- A minimum of 2,500 hours of total flight time.
