About the Role
FlightSafety International, a global leader in professional aviation training and simulator technology, seeks a Simulator Second in Command (SIC) for its Teterboro, NJ location. This role involves acting as SIC for both internal and external customer pilots during recurrent, initial, or generic training courses on multi-crew aircraft, adhering to established training curricula.

Requirements

Commercial Pilot Certificate with appropriate category, class, and instrument ratings.

Minimum of 450 flight hours.

High school diploma or GED with two to three years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Fluency in English (verbal and written communication), including the ability to speak, understand, read, and write.

Excellent cockpit verbal communication skills.

Ability to interact professionally with diverse customers.

Capacity to adapt to changing schedules and high-pressure situations.

Eligibility to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance may be required.
Qualifications

Maintenance of current SIC pilot qualification in accordance with program requirements.

Adherence to FlightSafety International’s Quality Management Systems (QMS) processes and procedures.

Possession of all required certificates, ratings, and designations to perform SIC duties.

Experience acting as SIC in various aircraft types for Part 142, Part 135, and non-FAA clients.

A second language may be required for specific Learning Center needs.
