Flexjet | First Officer

Flexjet, a distinguished leader in private jet travel, seeks a highly motivated and customer-focused Pilot to join its esteemed team. This individual will operate as an integral member of a flight crew, responsible for the safe and efficient piloting of Flexjet aircraft on both domestic and international routes, ensuring a premier travel experience for Flexjet owners. Responsibilities:

The Pilot reports directly to the Pilot-in-Command during all flight operations, executing all assigned duties with precision. They will maintain exceptional crew coordination, demonstrating a professional, efficient, and courteous demeanor at all times. The Pilot is accountable to the Fleet Chief Pilot for duty assignments and training directives. Responsibilities include greeting passengers, assisting with seating and luggage, conducting passenger briefings, and aiding in emergency evacuation procedures. They will adhere to all guidelines stipulated in the Crew Flight Manual and Flight Deck Handbook. Furthermore, the Pilot will maintain a current medical certificate as mandated by the company and promptly report any medical conditions that may impair their flying capability to their Assistant Chief Pilot. Other duties may be assigned as needed.

Qualifications:

All candidates must meet Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) minimum requirements. Special consideration is afforded to candidates with military flight experience, Pilot-in-Command time, turbine experience, and familiarity with Flexjet aircraft. Ideal candidates will have a minimum of 3,000 hours of total flight time, a current First Class Medical certificate, and a valid passport. The ability to obtain a CANPASS permit is also required. A Bachelor’s Degree in Aviation Flight, Aviation Management, or a closely related field is preferred, though equivalent experience is acceptable. Previous experience within Part 135/91K or corporate aircraft operations is highly desirable. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States and possess the capability to travel both domestically and internationally to all Flexjet service locations.

Required Skills:

The successful candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of all Federal Aviation Regulations relevant to FAR Part 135, Part 91 Subpart K, and Part 91, as well as a thorough knowledge of FAA, ICAO, and other international flight operation standards. They should exhibit exceptional organizational skills, advanced multitasking capabilities, and strong interpersonal, verbal, written, and presentation skills. Proficiency in computer applications such as word processing, email, and web-based tools is essential. A keen attention to detail, a collaborative team spirit, and a well-groomed appearance are paramount.

Domiciles:

Candidates must reside near or be willing to relocate near their assigned domicile, ensuring the ability to report to the domicile within two hours regardless of weather conditions. Pilots have the option to change their domicile with advance notice. Commuting expenses to and from the domicile are covered by the company during scheduled work days.
