First Officer - Helicopter Operations

Responsibilities:
- Functionally report to the Captain throughout all flight duties.
- Uphold a high standard of professionalism, conduct, and appearance as a representative of Flexjet Helicopters.
- Actively contribute to the development and maintenance of a high standard of professional expertise and morale alongside the Captain.
- Support the Captain in maintaining appropriate crew discipline, conduct, and personal appearance.
- Perform assigned duties concerning the flight, adhering to the Company Operations Manual, including procedures, limitations, and performance requirements specific to the aircraft type.
- Proactively offer advice, information, and assistance to the Captain to enhance the safety and efficiency of the flight.
- Foster an open and honest Flight Safety culture that promotes effective Crew Resource Management (CRM) throughout the company, minimizing risks. Submit relevant safety reports and report discrepancies/defects through appropriate channels.
- Maintain a current medical certificate as required by the Company and promptly notify the Operations Team of any medical conditions (physical or mental) that may affect flight capabilities.
- Assist the Captain with administrative duties related to the flight as requested.
- Demonstrate a high level of crew coordination, performing duties with professionalism, efficiency, and courtesy at all times.
- Report to the Operations team, Head of Crew Training, and Chief Pilot for duty assignments and training.
- Welcome passengers, assist with seating and luggage storage in a professional and courteous manner.
- Conduct passenger briefings as required.
- Perform other duties as required by the business.
Qualifications:
- Valid UK ATPL (H) or CAA CPL (H), or EASA equivalent acceptable for validation.
- Instrument Rating.
- 500 hours Rotary Total Time.
- Valid UK Class 1 Medical.
- EASA ATPL (H) desirable.
- Valid EASA Class 1 medical desirable.
- Multi-Pilot (MP) experience desirable.
- Hold a valid UK Passport or Right to work in the UK.
- Holder of an ELP (English Language Proficiency) Rating on EASA License - minimum level 5.
- S-92, AW139, S76, or AW109 type rating.
- Previous experience in Commercial or Corporate aircraft desirable.
- Previous Military or North Sea experience desirable.
- Must possess the legal right to work in the UK and have the ability to travel in and out of Europe and to all cities/countries where Flexjet Helicopters serves.
- Ability to work weekends, nights, shifts, holidays, and overnight trips.
- Employment is contingent upon successful completion of Line Training.

Working Conditions:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts, wet and/or humid conditions, including extreme heat and cold, high, precarious places, outside weather conditions, vibration, and chemicals including aviation fuels and oils. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
Physical Demands:
In addition to the requirement to hold a Class 1 Medical certificate, the Pilot must be physically capable of completing the day-to-day tasks associated with operating a helicopter. This includes, but is not limited to, loading and unloading baggage, performing thorough pre-flight and post-flight inspections, assisting with snow removal during inclement weather, installing and removing engine covers, and conducting daily internal and external aircraft cleaning as required. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move heavy baggage exceeding 20 kgs.
