Position Summary

Federal Express Corporation is seeking a professional Corporate Pilot / Senior Captain to provide safe and effective air transportation for corporate executives and personnel. This role is dedicated to maximizing executive productivity and optimizing travel efficiency through time-critical aviation support. The successful candidate will ensure the timely movement of FedEx flight crews, maintenance parts, and personnel to field locations, directly contributing to company profitability and operational reliability.

Essential Functions

  • Operate and control aircraft during all phases of flight, including takeoffs and landings.
  • Monitor engine performance, fuel consumption, and all critical aircraft systems.
  • Respond professionally to dynamic operational variables, including adverse weather conditions and in-flight emergencies.
  • Execute time-critical transport missions to support global logistics and personnel requirements.
  • Perform additional duties as required by flight operations management.

Minimum Qualifications

Education

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution or equivalent industry/operational experience in corporate aviation.

Certifications

  • Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate with multi-engine and instrument ratings (without limitation).
  • Current FAA First Class Medical Certificate (issued within the last 12 months).
  • Vision must be 20/20 correctable.

Experience

  • Minimum of 1,500 hours total fixed-wing time as Pilot in Command (PIC) or Second in Command (SIC) in multi-engine turboprop or jet aircraft.
  • Minimum of 500 hours total fixed-wing PIC time in multi-engine turboprop or jet aircraft weighing 12,500 lbs or greater.
  • PIC experience must be defined in accordance with FAR 1.1; recency of experience is required.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Demonstrated strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain a constant state of alertness and perform duties in a safe manner within a safety-sensitive environment.
  • Must be willing to submit to random alcohol and drug testing.
