Pilot in Command – International Operations
A challenging and rewarding full-time opportunity awaits a highly skilled and experienced Pilot in Command to join our team based in Fargo, ND, with international assignments.
Position Overview:
The Pilot in Command (PIC) will operate King Air C90 and B200 aircraft during specialized international missions. Reporting to the Director of Flight Operations, the successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient execution of flights, while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and adherence to all regulatory requirements.
Essential Job Functions:
- Execute special mission operations, adhering to stringent safety protocols.
- Assist with aircraft and mission-specific equipment maintenance.
- Manage the replenishment of seeding agents as needed.
- Maintain constant communication with project meteorologists, providing real-time updates on weather conditions.
- Meticulously maintain accurate flight records and logs.
- Ensure the aircraft and workspace are consistently clean, organized, and well-maintained.
- Provide 24/7 on-call weather monitoring as required.
- Represent the company with professionalism and diplomacy, fostering positive public relations and team cohesion.
- Deliver comprehensive operational updates to key personnel.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1500 total flight hours.
- Multi-engine experience preferred.
- Commercial, Multi-Engine, and Instrument ratings are mandatory.
- Current First or Second Class Medical Certificate.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion and tact.
- Willingness to relocate and undertake frequent international travel.
- Valid passport.
Physical Demands:
The role requires the ability to sit or stand for extended periods, along with frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, reaching, pushing, and pulling. The candidate must be capable of lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds.
