Role Overview
The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient command of B747 aircraft on designated routes, ensuring meticulous adherence to all international and national aviation regulations, as well as stringent company procedures. Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently command B747 aircraft, executing all flight phases in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Maintain absolute compliance with Air Navigation Regulations (ANRs), Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) directives, and company operational manuals.
- Ensure the utmost safety and comfort of all passengers and crew members during flight operations.
- Demonstrate exemplary leadership and Crew Resource Management (CRM) within the cockpit, fostering a collaborative and professional working environment.
- Exercise sound judgment and effective problem-solving skills, especially during complex or unforeseen operational scenarios.
- Actively participate in pre-flight planning, briefings, and post-flight debriefings to optimize operational efficiency.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Possession of a valid ATPL (Airline Transport Pilot License) with a current and unrestricted B747 Type Rating.
- Extensive command experience as a Captain on multi-engine, multi-crew commercial aircraft, with significant verifiable flight hours on the B747.
- A flawless professional record, free from any history of accidents, incidents, or regulatory violations.
- A current Class 1 Medical Certificate, compliant with EASA or equivalent international standards.
- Demonstrated eligibility to live and work in the United Kingdom, or the ability to secure the necessary work permits.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
