Pilot in Command - Global 7500
Executive Jet Management, a Berkshire Hathaway company, seeks a highly skilled and experienced Pilot in Command for a long-standing client operating a new Bombardier Global 7500 aircraft. This exceptional opportunity is based in Teterboro, NJ (KTEB).
Position Summary:
As Pilot in Command, you are entrusted with the ultimate responsibility for the safe, compliant, and efficient operation of the aircraft. You will lead a multi-pilot crew, supported by a dedicated Maintenance Technician and Flight Attendant, in conducting Part 91 and internal 135 operations.
This is a local position and only candidates residing in the Teterboro, NJ area will be considered.
Key Responsibilities:
Safety and Operational Excellence:
- Ensure all crewing and trip assignments comply with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Meticulously plan flights, including performance calculations, weight and balance considerations, and fuel management.
- Proactively mitigate operational risks through consistent utilization of the Threats, Plans, and Considerations (TPC) briefing methodology.
- Adhere to company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and coordinate seamlessly with ground support and internal teams.
- Serve as Grounds Security and In-Flight Security Coordinator as defined by company policy.
- Conduct thorough pre-flight inspections to guarantee aircraft airworthiness and document any discrepancies in accordance with company SOPs.
- Oversee all ground servicing procedures, ensuring compliance with established SOPs.
- Deliver comprehensive passenger briefings, prioritizing safety and regulatory compliance while exceeding expectations in customer service.
- Skillfully utilize Crew Resource Management (CRM) and Threat and Error Management (TEM) principles to maintain clear and timely communication with crew and support personnel throughout all phases of flight, including normal, abnormal, and emergency situations.
Exceptional Service Delivery:
- Consistently deliver a premium service experience to owners and passengers, seeking opportunities to enhance the EJM brand and address any service-related concerns with the utmost professionalism and discretion.
- Foster a collaborative environment with fellow crew members and EJM teams to ensure a seamless and positive experience for owners and passengers.
- Exhibit exceptional interpersonal skills, adeptly navigating and resolving conflict in a composed and professional manner.
Professionalism and Compliance:
- Maintain unwavering compliance with all regulatory and company-mandated training and recency of experience requirements.
- Actively participate in the company Safety Management System (SMS) program, promptly reporting any safety or compliance concerns through established channels.
Qualifications:
- Significant experience in corporate/business aviation is required.
- FAA Type rating in the Bombardier Global 7500 is mandatory.
- Proven ability to meet the essential functions of the position with minimal supervision.
Minimum Flight Experience:
- Total Time: 3500 hours
- Multi-Engine Land (MEL): 1500 hours
- Pilot in Command (PIC): 2000 hours
- PIC MEL: 500 hours
- Instrument: 300 hours
- Jet: 500 hours
Compensation and Benefits:
- Competitive salary range: $110,000 - $432,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
