As a NetJets First Officer, the individual will be responsible for providing a superior air transportation experience while maintaining a flawless safety record on every flight. The First Officer is a key representative of NetJets, delivering technically sound and safe transportation, coupled with exceptional service for every NetJets Owner and passenger. This individual will contribute to operating the largest and most diverse private jet fleet, transporting influential individuals to desirable destinations worldwide.
Responsibilities:
- Ensuring the safe operation of the aircraft, adhering to FAA guidelines, OEM checklists, NetJets Flight Operations Manual (FOM) or Aircraft Operating Manual (AOM), and Standard Operating Practices (SOPs) from taxi to take-off and landing.
- Greeting Owners/passengers pre-flight, providing introductions, briefing them on flight specifics, verifying itineraries, providing weather updates and safety briefings, and explaining any itinerary changes.
- Delivering in-flight service, including the responsible handling of alcohol and catering services.
- Loading and properly stowing baggage on the aircraft.
- Handling and conducting flights for Owners with pets and those who smoke.
- Acting as a final authority on the aircraft, ensuring compliance with all applicable safety and regulatory guidance.
- Serving as a liaison between Owners/passengers and NetJets from arrival at the FBO to safe landing and departure at the final destination.
- Communicating maintenance abnormalities or discrepancies to NetJets via the aircraft Maintenance Control Center (MCC) Controller.
- Completing necessary paperwork associated with maintenance issues.
- Performing other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Written FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate.
- Current FAA First Class Medical Certificate.
- FAA ATP, Restricted ATP, or meet the requirements for FAA ATP or Restricted ATP (R-ATP) certificate with multi-engine rating as follows (IAW 61.160):
- At least 21 years of age
- 1,500 hours total flight time experience or
- 1,250 hours with appropriate university R-ATP certificate or
- 1,000 hours with military pilot qualification or
- 1,000 hours with appropriate university R-ATP certificate
- 200 hours cross-country (>50 nm) flight time.
- 250 hours fixed-wing PIC.
- 100 hours of night flying, or 75 hours with ≥45 night takeoffs and landings.
- 75 hours of instrument time (actual or simulated in-flight, excludes simulator time).
- ATP written completed prior to start of Indoctrination Training.
- 50 hours fixed-wing, multi-engine time.
- FCC Restricted Radio Operator's Permit.
- Valid passport with the ability to travel internationally without restrictions.
- Authorization to work in the U.S. and travel in and out of the country without restriction.
- Ability to work varying hours, including day and night, weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
- Exceptional flexibility and adaptability to rapid changes.
- Ability to manage rest effectively to be prepared for flight duty at all times.
- Ability to secure appropriate airport authority and/or US Customs security badges.
- Ability to pass Transportation Security Administration required background screening.
- Valid State driver's license.
- Fluency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding the English language.
- Service-oriented with a neat, well-groomed appearance and strong interpersonal skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, particularly under pressure.
- Ability to make quick and accurate decisions while maintaining attention to detail.
- Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally.
- Comfortable working around animals, including handling and care.
- Ability to conduct flights for Owners who smoke.

Base Salary Range:
$86,015 - $117,706
