Executive Jet Management (Europe) Limited is seeking a qualified Second In Command for a GL6000 aircraft. The successful candidate will assist the Pilot in Command in the safe and efficient operation of flights, assuming command if the Commander is incapacitated. This role demands providing exceptional customer service while ensuring safe operations and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Execute all duties assigned by the Commander to ensure the safety of all flights and passengers, adhering to the aircraft Flight Manual, company Standard Operating Procedures, and relevant legislation.
- Assist the Commander in the safe and efficient operation of the flight.
- Independently verify the aircraft's safe navigation, continuously monitoring its geographical position and safe terrain clearance.
- Perform all operational procedures and checklists, following the Airplane Flight Manual, Operations Manuals, and the Commander's directives.
- Report any occurrence or incident that has endangered or may endanger safety to the Commander.
- Report any fault, failure, malfunction, or defect that may affect the airworthiness or safe operation of the aircraft to the Commander.
- Provide exceptional customer service at all times, contributing to customer satisfaction and retention.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 1500 hours and a maximum of 2000 hours of total flight time is required.
- Type-rating on GL6000 is preferred.
- Residence within a 2-hour drive from Oxford Airport is preferred.
- Prior experience as a captain is an advantage.
- Must possess an EASA Airline Transport Pilot Licence with appropriate type ratings.
- Must possess a European Union class 1 medical certificate.
- Must demonstrate a clear history of excellent performance.
- Extensive European flight experience is required.
- A strong commercial aviation background (EU-OPS and/or AIR-OPS environment is an advantage).
- Military or airline training is an advantage.
- Fluency in English (preferably level 6) is required; knowledge of two or more European languages is an advantage.
