First Officer Pilot – East Region

Location: This position encompasses a broad geographic scope within the Eastern United States, including but not limited to: VA, NY, NC, PA, RI, SC, VT, NJ, MA, ME, NH, MD, and CT. Specific base assignments are not determined by seniority, granting pilots the freedom to select from over 200 crew bases across the contiguous U.S.
Position Summary:
The First Officer is integral to delivering an unparalleled air transportation experience, ensuring every flight is executed with precision and the utmost regard for safety. This role requires the individual to serve as a visible representative of NetJets, providing technically sound and safe flight operations while delivering superior service to all NetJets Owners and passengers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate aircraft, adhering strictly to FAA guidelines, OEM checklists, the NetJets Flight Operations Manual, Aircraft Operating Manual, and Standard Operating Practices.
- Provide exceptional service to Owners/passengers, including pre-flight greetings, comprehensive briefings on flight specifics, and itinerary verification with weather updates and safety information.
- Perform in-flight service duties, including the responsible handling of alcohol and the provision of catering.
- Manage the loading and proper stowing of all baggage onboard the aircraft.
- Accommodate Owner needs, including pet travel and accommodating passengers who smoke.
- Act as the ultimate authority regarding aircraft operation and compliance with safety and regulatory guidance.
- Serve as a liaison between Owners/passengers and NetJets, from FBO arrival to final destination departure.
- Report any maintenance anomalies or discrepancies to the NetJets Maintenance Control Center (MCC) Controller and ensure accurate paperwork completion.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) written exam completed.
- First Class Medical Certificate.
- Must meet the requirements for an FAA ATP or Restricted ATP (R-ATP) certificate with multi-engine rating (IAW 61.160)
- At least 21 years of age.
- 1,500 hours total flight time experience, or 1,250 hours with an appropriate university R-ATP certificate, or 1,000 hours with military pilot qualification, or 1,000 hours with an appropriate university R-ATP certificate.
- 200 hours cross-country flight time.
- 250 hours fixed-wing PIC.
- 100 hours of night flying, or 75 hours with 45 night takeoffs and landings.
- 75 hours of instrument time (actual or simulated).
- 50 hours fixed-wing, multi-engine time.
- FCC Restricted Radio Operator's Permit.
- Valid passport and ability to travel internationally without restrictions.
- Authorization to work in the U.S.
- Must have a valid State driver’s license.
- Ability to pass Transportation Security Administration background screening and secure necessary airport authority and/or US Customs security badges.
- Proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding the English language.
- Exceptional service orientation with a professional appearance and ability to interact effectively with passengers.
- Demonstrated ability to make quick, accurate decisions while paying attention to detail, both technically and from a service perspective.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally, 30 pounds frequently, and 10 pounds constantly.
- Ability to work around animals and conduct flights for owners who smoke.

Compensation:
Base salary range: $69,932 - $95,696.
