Executive Jet Management (Europe) Limited seeks a highly skilled and experienced Second in Command for its European operations based in London, UK. This crucial role demands a professional committed to upholding the highest standards of safety and delivering exceptional customer service.
Purpose:
The Second in Command will assist the Pilot in Command in the safe and efficient operation of flights, assuming command in the event of the Commander's incapacitation. A primary focus is ensuring both safe operations and exceeding customer expectations.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain the safety of all flights and passengers, adhering strictly to the aircraft Flight Manual, company Standard Operating Procedures, and all applicable regulations.
- Actively assist the Pilot in Command in all aspects of flight operation.
- Independently and continuously monitor the aircraft's geographical position and terrain clearance, ensuring safe navigation.
- Execute all operational procedures and checklists according to the Airplane Flight Manual and Operations Manuals, under the direction of the Commander.
- Immediately report any safety-related occurrences or incidents to the Commander.
- Promptly report any suspected malfunctions or defects that could compromise airworthiness or safe operation to the Commander.
- Provide consistently superior customer service to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 1500 hours total flight time.
- Type rating for CL350, GL6000, GL6500, or GLXRS aircraft.
- Frozen Airline Transport Pilot Licence with appropriate type ratings.
- European Union Class 1 medical certificate.
- Candidate's primary base must offer direct airline connections to Dubai (OMDB).
- Prior experience as a Captain is highly desirable.
- Extensive European flight experience is essential.
- Proven record of exceptional performance.
- Strong commercial aviation background within an EUOPS and/or AIROPS environment is advantageous.
- Military or airline training is considered a significant asset.
- Fluency in English (ideally level 6), with proficiency in two or more European languages being beneficial.
