Second in Command (EJM Europe)
Executive Jet Management (Europe) Limited seeks a highly skilled and experienced Second in Command to join its team based in London, GB. This crucial role supports the Pilot in Command in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of flights while delivering exceptional customer service. The successful candidate will assume command in the event of the Pilot in Command's incapacitation.
Responsibilities:
- Actively assist the Pilot in Command in all phases of flight operations, adhering strictly to the aircraft Flight Manual, company Standard Operating Procedures, and all applicable legislation.
- Maintain a constant and independent check of the aircraft's geographical position and safe terrain clearance, ensuring safe navigation.
- Execute all operational procedures and checklists as defined by the Pilot in Command and in accordance with the Airplane Flight Manual and Operations Manuals.
- Promptly report any safety-related occurrences, incidents, faults, malfunctions, or defects to the Pilot in Command.
- Provide consistently superior customer service, contributing to customer satisfaction and retention.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 1500 hours total flight time.
- Type rating on GL6000/6500 is highly desirable.
- Candidates must reside within a maximum two-hour radius of Oxford (EGTK) Airport.
- Prior experience as a captain is a significant advantage.
- Frozen Airline Transport Pilot Licence with appropriate type ratings is required.
- European Union Class 1 medical certificate is mandatory.
- A demonstrable record of excellent performance is essential.
- Extensive European flight experience is required.
- A strong background in commercial aviation (EUOPS and/or AIROPS experience preferred).
- Military or airline training is considered advantageous.
- Fluency in English (level 6 preferred), with proficiency in additional European languages highly valued.
