First Officer Position – South Central Region

About the Role:
The First Officer is responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of NetJets aircraft while providing an exceptional service experience to Owners and passengers. This critical role involves meticulous adherence to FAA guidelines, OEM checklists, NetJets Flight Operations Manual (FOM), Aircraft Operating Manuals (AOMs), and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). The First Officer acts as a key representative of NetJets, maintaining a professional demeanor and fostering positive interactions with clientele throughout their journey.
Responsibilities:
- Safe operation of aircraft, encompassing all phases of flight from taxi to landing.
- Pre-flight briefing of Owners/passengers, including itinerary review, weather updates, and safety instructions.
- Provision of in-flight service, including catering and appropriate handling of alcohol.
- Proper loading and stowage of baggage and handling of passenger pets and smoking requirements.
- Maintaining ultimate authority regarding aircraft operation and compliance with safety regulations.
- Serving as the liaison between Owners/passengers and NetJets, ensuring seamless travel from departure to arrival.
- Accurate reporting of maintenance discrepancies to NetJets Maintenance Control Center (MCC).
- Completion of all necessary paperwork associated with flight operations and maintenance.
- Additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Written FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate.
- Current FAA First-Class Medical Certificate.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 1,500 hours of total flight time (or equivalent experience as outlined in FAA regulations 61.160).
- 200 hours cross-country flight time (>50 nm).
- 250 hours fixed-wing PIC.
- 100 hours of night flying (or 75 hours with ≥45 night takeoffs and landings).
- 75 hours of instrument time (actual or simulated in-flight).
- 50 hours fixed-wing, multi-engine time.
- ATP written examination completed prior to Indoctrination Training.
- FCC Restricted Radio Operator's Permit.
- Valid passport with unrestricted international travel authorization.
- Authorization to work in the U.S. without restriction.
- Ability to manage rest periods effectively for flight duty.
- Ability to secure necessary airport authority and/or US Customs security badges. Successful completion of Transportation Security Administration background screening.
- Valid state driver's license.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken).
- Exemplary service orientation and professional demeanor.
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to make quick, accurate decisions under pressure.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
