Pilot Responsibilities:
The First Officer plays a crucial role in ensuring the safety and seamless execution of each flight. They will be responsible for:
- Flight Operations: Adhering to FAA guidelines, OEM checklists, and NetJets manuals during taxi, takeoff, and landing.
- Passenger Service: Providing a welcoming and professional atmosphere for NetJets Owners and passengers, including pre-flight briefings, weather updates, and safety instructions.
- In-Flight Service: Delivering in-flight service, handling catering, and ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable flight experience.
- Aircraft Management: Maintaining a safe and efficient aircraft environment by adhering to all applicable safety regulations.
- Communication: Maintaining clear communication with passengers, ground crew, and NetJets maintenance personnel.
- Documentation: Completing all required paperwork related to flight operations and any identified maintenance discrepancies.
Essential Qualifications:
- FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate: Must hold a valid ATP or Restricted ATP (R-ATP) certificate with a multi-engine rating.
- Flight Experience: Minimum of 1,500 hours of total flight time or equivalent experience with an appropriate university R-ATP certificate, military pilot qualification, or a combination thereof.
- Medical Certificate: Current FAA First-Class Medical certificate.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, particularly under pressure.
- Service Orientation: Demonstrated ability to provide exceptional service to passengers, with a professional and courteous demeanor.
- Decision-Making: Ability to make sound and timely decisions while maintaining focus on safety and passenger comfort.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds occasionally, and/or up to 30 pounds frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds constantly.
