First Officer – South Region
NetJets Aviation, Inc. invites applications for the position of First Officer, based in various locations throughout the Southern United States. About the Role:
The First Officer will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of NetJets aircraft, providing a superior air transportation experience for every NetJets Owner and passenger. This position demands a high level of professionalism, technical expertise, and exceptional customer service skills. The successful candidate will represent NetJets as a brand ambassador, ensuring a consistently positive and memorable experience for all onboard.
Responsibilities:
- Safe and compliant operation of assigned aircraft, adhering to all FAA regulations, OEM checklists, NetJets Flight Operations Manual (FOM), Aircraft Operating Manuals (AOM), and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Pre-flight briefing of Owners/passengers, itinerary verification, weather updates, and safety briefings.
- Provision of in-flight service, including catering and responsible alcohol service (where applicable).
- Proper loading and stowage of all baggage and passenger belongings.
- Accommodating passengers with pets and those who smoke, as required.
- Serving as the final authority on all aspects of aircraft operation, ensuring adherence to safety and regulatory guidelines.
- Acting as a liaison between Owners/passengers and NetJets throughout the entire flight journey.
- Prompt reporting of all maintenance abnormalities or discrepancies to the NetJets Maintenance Control Center (MCC).
- Accurate and timely completion of all associated paperwork.
- Performance of other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Written FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate.
- Current FAA First-Class Medical Certificate.
- Minimum flight experience requirements (details available upon request).
- FCC Restricted Radio Operator's Permit.
- Valid passport and unrestricted international travel eligibility.
- Authorization to work in the U.S. and unrestricted travel in and out of the country.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Exceptional adaptability, collaboration, and service-orientation skills.
- Strong communication (oral and written), decision-making, and attention-to-detail abilities.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
- Ability to work around animals and accommodate smoking passengers.
- Ability to obtain necessary airport authority and/or US Customs security badges.
- Successful completion of Transportation Security Administration background screening.
- Valid State driver's license.
- Fluent in English (reading, writing, and speaking).
Base Salary Range:
$69,932 - $95,696
