Responsibilities:
The First Officer is accountable for the safe and efficient operation of assigned aircraft, adhering strictly to FAA regulations, OEM checklists, NetJets Flight Operations Manuals (FOMs), Aircraft Operating Manuals (AOMs), and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Safe conduct of all flight phases (taxi, takeoff, landing).
- Pre-flight briefing of Owners and passengers, including itinerary review, weather updates, and safety procedures.
- Provision of in-flight service, including catering and beverage management (where applicable).
- Secure and appropriate stowage of passenger baggage.
- Accommodation of passengers with pets or smoking requirements.
- Acting as the primary liaison between Owners/passengers and NetJets, from arrival at the Fixed Base Operator (FBO) until departure from the final destination.
- Prompt reporting of any maintenance irregularities or discrepancies to the Maintenance Control Center (MCC).
- Diligent completion of all associated documentation.

Qualifications:
The following qualifications are required for this position:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Written FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate.
- Current FAA First-Class Medical Certificate.
- At least 21 years of age, with minimum flight time requirements meeting FAA ATP or Restricted ATP (R-ATP) criteria (detailed requirements available upon request).
- FCC Restricted Radio Operator's Permit.
- Valid passport with unrestricted international travel capabilities.
- Authorization to work in the U.S. and unrestricted travel in and out of the country.
- Proven ability to manage rest periods effectively to maintain peak performance for flight duty.
- Capacity to work variable hours, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays, potentially involving extended duty periods and multiple time zones.
- Ability to secure necessary airport authority and/or US Customs security badges. Successful completion of Transportation Security Administration background screening.
- Valid State driver's license.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken).
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, particularly under pressure.
- Strong decision-making abilities with meticulous attention to detail, encompassing both technical and passenger service aspects.
- Demonstrated adaptability and ability to handle rapid change.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally, 30 pounds frequently, and 10 pounds constantly.
- Ability to handle animals safely and appropriately.
- Ability to service passengers who smoke.
