Pilot (First Officer) - East Region

NetJets Aviation, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pilot (First Officer) to join its esteemed team in the East Region. This role offers the opportunity to command a diverse fleet of private jets, serving discerning clientele across the globe.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure the safe operation of the aircraft from taxi to landing in strict accordance with FAA guidelines, Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) Checklists, NetJets Flight Operations Manual (FOM) or Aircraft Operating Manual (AOM), and Standard Operating Practices (SOPs).
- Provide exceptional service to NetJets Owners and passengers, acting as a knowledgeable and courteous ambassador of the company.
- Greet Owners/passengers pre-flight, providing a comprehensive safety briefing and flight itinerary.
- Deliver in-flight service, including the handling of alcohol and catering.
- Load and stow baggage safely and securely.
- Handle flights with pets and passengers who smoke.
- Serve as the final authority on all aspects of aircraft operation, ensuring strict compliance with safety and regulatory guidance.
- Act as a liaison between Owners/passengers and NetJets throughout the journey, from arrival at the FBO to departure.
- Communicate any maintenance abnormalities or discrepancies to NetJets' Maintenance Control Center (MCC) Controller on duty.
- Complete all necessary paperwork related to maintenance issues.
- Perform other duties as assigned, depending on the position.
Qualifications:
- Education: High School Diploma.
- Certifications and Licenses:
- Written FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate.
- Current FAA First-Class Medical Certificate.
- Experience: Not specified, but a minimum of 1,500 hours of total flight time experience or equivalent is required.
- Core Competencies: Adaptability, Collaboration, Strives for Positive Results, Service-Oriented, Curiosity.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other (KSAOs):
- FAA ATP, Restricted ATP, or meet the requirements for FAA ATP or Restricted ATP (R-ATP) certificate with multi-engine rating.
- Minimum of 21 years of age.
- 1,500 hours total flight time experience or equivalent (specific requirements based on certifications).
- 200 hours cross-country flight time (>50 nm).
- 250 hours fixed-wing PIC.
- 100 hours of night flying, or 75 hours with ≥45 night takeoffs and landings.
- 75 hours of instrument time (actual or simulated in-flight, excludes simulator time).
- ATP written completed prior to start of Indoctrination Training.
- 50 hours fixed-wing, multi-engine time.
- FCC Restricted Radio Operator's Permit.
- Valid passport and ability to travel internationally without restrictions.
- Authorization to work in the U.S. and travel in and out of the country without restriction.
- Ability to work varying hours, including day and night, weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
- Extreme flexibility and adaptability to rapid changes.
- Ability to manage rest effectively to be prepared for flight duty at all times.
- Ability to work for extended periods, potentially up to fourteen hours per day for up to eight days, spanning different time zones and weather conditions.
- Ability to be away from home for seven or more days and nights while staying in hotels.
- Ability to secure appropriate airport authority and/or US Customs security badges.
- Ability to pass Transportation Security Administration required background screening.
- Valid State driver's license.
- Fluency in written and spoken English.
- Strong service orientation with a neat and well-groomed appearance.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, especially under pressure.
- Ability to make quick and accurate decisions while paying close attention to detail, both technically and from a passenger-service perspective.
- Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, up to 30 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly.
- Ability to work around animals, including handling and care.
- Ability to conduct flights for Owners who smoke.
