Purpose of Position
The Pilot is responsible for providing a superior air transportation experience, ensuring both safety and exceptional service for every NetJets Owner and passenger.
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Safely operate the aircraft from taxi, take-off, and landing, adhering to FAA guidelines, OEM checklists, NetJets FOM/AOM, and SOPs.
- Greet Owners/passengers pre-flight, provide itinerary and weather updates, and explain any changes to the itinerary.
- Deliver in-flight service, including catering and alcohol handling, as needed.
- Properly load and stow all baggage on the aircraft.
- Accommodate passengers with pets and those who smoke.
- Act as the final authority on the aircraft, ensuring compliance with all safety and regulatory guidance.
- Serve as a liaison between Owners/passengers and NetJets from arrival at the FBO until departure from the final FBO.
- Communicate any maintenance abnormalities or discrepancies to NetJets via the MCC Controller.
- Properly complete all paperwork associated with maintenance issues.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

High School Diploma or equivalent
Certifications and Licenses
- Written FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate
- Current FAA First-Class Medical certificate

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Other (KSAOs)
- FAA ATP, Restricted ATP, or meet the requirements for FAA ATP or Restricted ATP (R-ATP) certificate with multi-engine rating.
- At least 21 years of age, with 1,500 hours total flight time experience (or equivalent requirements).
- 200 hours cross-country flight time.
- 250 hours fixed-wing PIC.
- 100 hours of night flying, or 75 hours with 45 night takeoffs and landings.
- 75 hours of instrument time (actual or simulated in-flight).
- ATP written completed prior to the start of Indoctrination Training.
- 50 hours fixed-wing, multi-engine time.
- FCC Restricted Radio Operator's Permit.
- Valid passport and ability to travel internationally without restrictions.
- Authorization to work in the U.S. and travel in and out of the country without restriction.
- Ability to work varying hours, including day and night; weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
- Extreme flexibility and adaptability to rapid changes.
- Ability to manage rest to be prepared for flight duty at all times.
- Ability to secure appropriate airport authority and/or US Customs security badges.
- Valid State driver's license.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
- Excellent communication skills, particularly under pressure.
- Ability to make quick and accurate decisions while paying close attention to detail.
- Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 30 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly.
- Ability to work around animals, including handling and care prior to, during, and after Owner flights.
- Ability to conduct flights for Owners who smoke.
Base Salary Range
$69,932 - $95,696
