Purpose of the Position
The Pilot is responsible for delivering a superior air transportation experience while maintaining an impeccable safety record on every flight. They serve as the face of NetJets, providing both technical accuracy and exceptional service to every NetJets Owner and passenger.
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Ensure the safe operation of the aircraft, adhering to FAA guidelines, OEM checklists, NetJets Flight Operations Manual (FOM), Aircraft Operating Manual (AOM), and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Greet Owners/passengers pre-flight, providing introductions, flight briefings, itinerary verification, weather updates, and safety briefings.
- Deliver in-flight service as needed, including catering, handling of alcohol, and appropriate accommodations for passengers with pets or smokers.
- Load and stow baggage properly on the aircraft.
- Serve as the final authority on the aircraft, ensuring compliance with all applicable safety and regulatory guidance.
- Act as a liaison between Owners/passengers and NetJets, from their arrival at the FBO to their departure from the final FBO.
- Communicate any maintenance abnormalities or discrepancies to NetJets via the Maintenance Control Center (MCC) Controller.
- Complete all necessary paperwork associated with maintenance issues.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Written FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certification.
- Current FAA First-Class Medical Certificate.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other (KSAOs)
- Meet the requirements for an FAA ATP or Restricted ATP (R-ATP) certificate with a multi-engine rating.
- At least 21 years of age.
- Minimum flight time experience: 1,500 hours total, 1,250 hours with appropriate university R-ATP certificate, 1,000 hours with military pilot qualification, or 1,000 hours with appropriate university R-ATP certificate.
- 200 hours cross-country flight time (>50 nautical miles).
- 250 hours fixed-wing PIC.
- 100 hours of night flying, or 75 hours with ≥45 night takeoffs and landings.
- 75 hours of instrument time (actual or simulated in-flight).
- ATP written completed prior to the start of Indoctrination Training.
- 50 hours fixed-wing, multi-engine time.
- Current FCC Restricted Radio Operator's Permit.
- Valid passport and the ability to travel internationally without restrictions.
- Authorization to work in the U.S. and travel in and out of the country without restriction.
- Ability to work varying hours, including day and night, weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
- Demonstrated flexibility and ability to adjust to rapid changes.
- Ability to manage rest for flight duty.
- Ability to work up to fourteen hours per day for up to eight days, spanning different time zones and extreme weather conditions.
- Ability to stay in hotels while away from home for seven or more days and nights.
- Ability to secure appropriate airport authority and/or US Customs security badges.
- Ability to pass Transportation Security Administration background screening.
- Valid State driver's license.
- Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking, and understanding).
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, especially under pressure.
- Ability to make quick and accurate decisions while paying close attention to detail.
- Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 30 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
- Ability to work around animals, including handling and care before, during, and after flights.
- Ability to conduct flights for Owners who smoke.
Base Salary Range
$69,932 - $95,696
