Pilot in Command - EMB-550
Executive Jet Management is seeking a qualified and experienced Pilot in Command for an EMB-550 aircraft based in Evansville, Indiana (EVV). The Pilot in Command is responsible for ensuring the safe, compliant, and efficient operation of the aircraft while delivering an exceptional service experience to clients.
Responsibilities:
- Ensures the safe operation of flight, including compliant crewing and trip assignments.
- Completes flight planning, performance calculations, and weight and balance tasks.
- Leads briefings utilizing Threats, Plans, and Considerations (TPC) methodology to mitigate operational risks.
- Complies with company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and acts as the Grounds Security and In-Flight Security Coordinator.
- Completes pre-flight tasks, monitors aircraft ground servicing, and records aircraft discrepancies.
- Delivers passenger briefings and provides exceptional customer service, addressing any special needs.
- Utilizes Crew Resource Management (CRM) and Threat and Error Management (TEM) for effective communication with crew and support personnel.
- Provides quality service to owners and passengers, identifying opportunities to enhance the service experience.
- Collaborates with crew members and internal partners to ensure consistent service.
- Maintains regulatory and company-required training and recency of experience.
- Complies with the company's Safety Management System (SMS) and reports safety concerns.
Qualifications:
- FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate.
- First Class Medical Certificate.
- 4-6 years of experience.
- Prior corporate/business aviation experience preferred.
- FAA Type rating in applicable fleet.
Minimum Time Requirements:
- Total flight time: 3500 hours.
- Multi Engine Land (MEL): 1500 hours.
- Pilot in Command: 2000 hours.
- PIC MEL: 500 hours.
- Instrument: 300 hours.
- Jet: 500 hours.
This position requires residing within driving distance of Evansville Regional Airport (EVV). The typical flight schedule involves approximately 250 hours annually, primarily on single-day trips during weekdays, booked well in advance, with occasional overnights.
