Position Overview
Executive Jet Management, a Berkshire Hathaway company, is actively recruiting seasoned Cabin Attendant professionals for a brand-new Global 7500 aircraft. This prestigious role is based at Bradley International Airport (KBDL) in Connecticut. The Cabin Attendant is paramount in ensuring passenger welfare, encompassing all aspects of cabin safety and service. Proficiency in abnormal and emergency procedures, alongside comprehensive knowledge of cabin systems and operations, is essential. This account operates under Part 91 regulations and is supported by a dedicated six-pilot crew, a full-time Maintenance Technician, and two full-time Cabin Attendants.
Key Requirements for Qualification
- A minimum of five (5) years of dedicated Corporate Cabin Attendant experience is mandatory. Commercial flight attendant experience is not considered equivalent.
- Candidates must reside within a two-hour driving radius of Bradley International Airport (BDL). This position is not commutable.
- Extensive international flight experience is required, as this account is projected to fly to international destinations approximately 70% of the time.
- Proven experience in sourcing and preparing food for onboard consumption is essential, with an elevated culinary background being a significant asset.
- Candidates must possess current and comprehensive training from Flight Safety or Aircare FACTS, including Emergency and First Aid certifications, prior to application.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Coordinate pre-flight activities, including verification of emergency equipment maintenance status, cabin cleanliness, aircraft provisioning, and accurate catering orders.
- Report directly to the assigned Pilot in Command for all trip-related duties and ensure strict compliance with all Federal Air Regulations (FARs).
- Ensure passenger adherence to all regulatory requirements.
- Maintain proficiency and currency as a Part 91 or Part 91/135 qualified crewmember.
- Conduct thorough emergency and service briefings before each flight leg and confirm cabin security prior to taxi.
- Adhere to the General Operations Manual, company policies, and procedures, including the Travel & Entertainment Policy for Crewmembers.
- Deliver an unparalleled level of customer service to aircraft owners and charter passengers.
- Greet passengers, confirm passenger manifest accuracy, and provide a first-class environment through meal preparation, attentive passenger care, and meticulous cabin maintenance.
- Uphold the company's commitment to safety, security, and quality by consistently complying with the Safety Management System (SMS) program and reporting any safety, security, or quality recommendations or observed non-compliance.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Qualifications (KSAOs)
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Demonstrated customer service experience is required; fine dining and culinary meal planning experience are preferred.
- Excellent verbal communication skills are essential.
- Willingness to work irregular and extended hours in accordance with flight schedules.
- Successful completion of the EJM Cabin Attendant Training Program is a prerequisite.
- Certification in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and proficiency in the use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) are required.
- Proficiency with all aircraft emergency equipment and a thorough understanding of emergency procedures.
- Knowledge of safe food handling procedures.
- Expertise in the proper cleaning and laundering of all cabin linens and serving ware.
- Ability to operate all onboard entertainment systems and equipment, including performing basic troubleshooting.
- Responsibility for the purchase and stocking of cabin supplies and catering from various establishments.
- Preference will be given to local candidates with extensive long-range aircraft experience.
Compensation and Benefits
Base Salary Range: $110,000 - $130,000 (for Large/Heavy/Premium Cabin Size)
