The Opportunity: Cabin Attendant, Global 7500
Executive Jet Management, a proud Berkshire Hathaway company, is actively seeking highly experienced and proficient Cabin Attendant candidates to join a prestigious team for a brand new Global 7500 aircraft. Based in Bradley, CT (KBDL), this critical role assumes comprehensive responsibility for the welfare of passengers, ensuring the highest standards in all aspects of cabin safety and luxurious service. The successful candidate must demonstrate advanced training and proficiency in Abnormal and Emergency procedures, as well as an in-depth understanding of cabin systems and operations. This exclusive Part 91 account operates with a dedicated team, comprising six pilots, a full-time Maintenance Technician, and two full-time Cabin Attendants.
Please note, this is not a commutable position, and the selected candidate must reside within a two-hour drive of Bradley International Airport (BDL).
Key Responsibilities
The Cabin Attendant will be entrusted with a comprehensive range of duties, ensuring an unparalleled travel experience and maintaining the highest safety standards:
- Coordinate all pre-flight activities, including verifying the proper maintenance status of emergency equipment, ensuring cabin cleanliness, overseeing aircraft stocking, and managing catering orders onboard.
- Report directly to the assigned Pilot in Command for all scheduled trip duties and diligently comply with all Federal Air Regulations (FARs).
- Ensure passenger adherence to all regulatory requirements and safety protocols.
- Maintain continuous proficiency and currency as a qualified Part 91 or Part 91/135 crewmember.
- Conduct thorough emergency and service briefings prior to each flight leg and ensure the cabin is fully secured before taxi.
- Comply rigorously with the General Operations Manual and all company policies and procedures, including the Travel & Entertainment Policy for Crewmembers.
- Deliver the highest caliber of customer service to aircraft owners and charter passengers, including warmly greeting all passengers and accurately confirming the passenger manifest.
- Cultivate a first-class cabin environment by expertly preparing meals, meticulously tending to passenger needs, and maintaining an immaculate and orderly cabin at all times.
- Uphold the company’s paramount goals for safety, security, and quality through continuous compliance with the company Safety Management System (SMS) program, and report any safety, security, or quality recommendations or non-compliance observations through the appropriate channels.
Required Qualifications
To be considered for this exceptional opportunity, candidates must meet the following stringent requirements:
- A minimum of five (5) years of dedicated Corporate Cabin Attendant experience is mandatory. Commercial flight attendant experience will not be considered equivalent.
- Must currently reside, or be willing to relocate, within a two-hour drive from BDL airport.
- Possess extensive experience flying internationally, as this account will operate to international destinations approximately 70% of the time.
- Demonstrate profound experience in shopping for and preparing high-quality food onboard, with an elevated culinary expertise being essential.
- Must be fully trained and current with Flight Safety or Aircare FACTS Training, inclusive of Emergency and First Aid Training, prior to application submission.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
The ideal candidate will also possess the following essential skills and attributes:
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Exceptional customer service experience is required, with a strong preference for candidates demonstrating fine dining and culinary meal planning experience.
- Possess excellent verbal communication skills.
- Exhibit a willingness to work irregular and long hours as dictated by dynamic flight schedules.
- Ability to successfully meet and complete the EJM Cabin Attendant Training Program.
- Certified to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and proficient in the usage of an automated external defibrillator (AED).
- Proficient with all aircraft emergency equipment and possess comprehensive knowledge of emergency procedures.
- Knowledgeable in safe food handling procedures and best practices.
- Adept at proper cleaning and laundering of all cabin linens and serving ware.
- Ability to operate all onboard entertainment systems and equipment, as well as perform basic troubleshooting.
- Responsible for the purchase and meticulous stocking of cabin supplies and catering from high-quality bakeries, markets, and restaurants.
- Preference will be given to local candidates with substantial long-range aircraft experience.
Base Salary Range (Large/Heavy/Premium Cabin Size): $110,000 - $130,000
