About the Role
Executive Jet Management (EJM), a Berkshire Hathaway company, is seeking qualified Cabin Attendant candidates for a Praetor 600 aircraft based in Wilmington, DE (KILG). The Cabin Attendant is responsible for the welfare of passengers in all aspects of cabin safety and service. This is not a commutable position and requires the successful candidate to reside within a two-hour drive of ILG. Relocation assistance may be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate preflight activities, ensuring the proper maintenance status of emergency equipment, cabin cleanliness, aircraft stocking, and catering orders.
- Adhere to all Federal Air Regulations (FARs) and ensure passenger compliance.
- Maintain proficiency and currency as a Part 91 or Part 91/135 qualified crewmember.
- Conduct emergency and service briefings prior to each leg and secure the cabin before taxi.
- Comply with the General Operations Manual, company policies, and procedures.
- Provide the highest level of customer service to owners and charter passengers.
- Greet passengers and verify passenger manifests.
- Prepare meals, attend to passenger needs, and maintain an orderly cabin to ensure a first-class environment.
- Assure the company’s goals for safety, security, and quality are met through continuous compliance with the Safety Management System (SMS) program and reporting of any non-compliance observations.
Qualifications and Skills
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Completed Cabin Attendant training with Aircare FACTS or Flight Safety International within the past year.
- Current certification for CPR/AED.
- Customer service experience is required.
- Fine dining and culinary meal planning experience is preferred.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Willingness to work irregular and long hours according to flight schedules.
- Must meet and successfully complete the EJM Cabin Attendant Training Program.
- Proficient with all aircraft emergency equipment and knowledge of emergency procedures.
- Knowledgeable with safe food handling procedures.
- Proficiency in proper cleaning and laundering of cabin linens and serving ware.
- Ability to operate all onboard entertainment systems and equipment, and perform basic troubleshooting.
- Responsible for the purchase and stocking of cabin supplies and catering.
- Preference given to local candidates with Corporate Cabin Attendant experience.
Compensation
Base Salary Range (Cabin Size: SuperMid/Premium): $60,000 - $150,000
