Position Overview

EJM is seeking a qualified Pilot in Command (PIC) for a Global Express 5000V aircraft based in Boca Raton, FL (KBCT). This role operates within a two-pilot account, supported by a maintenance technician, and focuses exclusively on Part 91 operations. The PIC maintains final responsibility for the safe, compliant, and efficient operation of the aircraft while delivering an exceptional service experience to owners and passengers.

Tasks and Responsibilities

Flight Safety and Operations

  • Ensure all crewing and trip assignments remain compliant with company and regulatory requirements.
  • Perform flight planning, performance, and weight and balance tasks.
  • Lead required briefings using the Threats, Plans, and Considerations (TPC) methodology to mitigate operational risks.
  • Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and act as the designated Grounds Security and In-Flight Security Coordinator.
  • Conduct aircraft pre-flight inspections, monitor maintenance status, and record discrepancies according to SOPs.
  • Oversee aircraft ground servicing, including fueling, oil, and oxygen.
  • Execute passenger briefings and provide superior customer service, including accommodating special passenger needs.
  • Utilize Crew Resource Management (CRM) and Threat and Error Management (TEM) for clear communication during all flight phases.

Service Excellence

  • Provide high-quality service to owners and passengers while identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaborate effectively with fellow crew members and internal EJM partners to resolve service deviations and operational challenges.

Compliance and Proficiency

  • Maintain all regulatory and company-required training and recency of experience.
  • Comply with the company Safety Management System (SMS) and report all safety or non-compliance concerns.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Experience: 4–6 years of aviation experience.
  • Preferred: Prior experience in corporate or business aviation.
  • Certification: Must hold an FAA Type rating in the applicable fleet.
  • Minimum Flight Requirements:
    • Total Flight Time: 3,500 hours
    • Multi-Engine Land (MEL): 1,500 hours
    • Pilot in Command (PIC): 2,000 hours
    • PIC MEL: 500 hours
    • Instrument: 300 hours
    • Jet: 500 hours
