Executive Jet Management Pilot in Command (Gulfstream 500) - Boca Raton, FL
Executive Jet Management (EJM), a subsidiary of NetJets and a Berkshire Hathaway company, is seeking a qualified Pilot in Command (PIC) for a Gulfstream 500 aircraft based at Boca Raton, FL (KBCT). This role is part of a three-pilot crew supported by a Maintenance Technician, operating under Part 135 regulations. EJM is a pioneer in aircraft management and worldwide jet charter services since 1977, committed to safety, service, and integrity.
Position Overview
The Pilot in Command is ultimately responsible for ensuring the safe, compliant, and efficient operation of the aircraft. The PIC will adhere to all company and regulatory requirements while providing an exceptional service experience to passengers.
Key Responsibilities

Ensures the safe operation of flights, including compliance with crewing and trip assignment regulations.

Completes flight planning, performance calculations, and weight and balance tasks.

Leads briefings using the Threats, Plans, and Considerations (TPC) methodology to mitigate operational risks.

Adheres to company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and coordinates with relevant personnel.

Serves as Grounds Security and In-Flight Security Coordinator as per company policy.

Completes all pre-flight tasks, verifies aircraft maintenance status, and records discrepancies according to SOPs.

Monitors and ensures all aircraft ground servicing items (fueling, oil, oxygen) are accomplished in accordance with SOPs.

Conducts passenger briefings compliant with company policy and regulations, delivering superior customer service and accommodating special needs.

Utilizes Crew Resource Management (CRM) and Threat and Error Management (TEM) principles for clear and timely communication during all operational phases.

Provides high-quality service to owners and passengers, identifying opportunities to enhance the EJM service experience and resolving service deviations.

Collaborates with crew members and internal EJM partners to ensure a consistent service experience, managing conflicts effectively.

Maintains required regulatory and company training and recency of experience.

Complies with the company's Safety Management System (SMS) program and reports safety or non-compliance concerns.
Qualifications and Experience

4-6 years of relevant experience.

Prior experience in corporate/business aviation is preferred.

FAA Type rating in the applicable fleet is required.

Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position.

Minimum flight time requirements:

Total flight time: 3500 hours

Multi-Engine Land (MEL): 1500 hours
