Pilot in Command, Falcon 900LX (KTEB Base)
Executive Jet Management, a Berkshire Hathaway company and a pioneer in aircraft management and worldwide jet charter services since 1977, is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Pilot in Command for a 2024 Falcon 900LX aircraft. This position is based in Teterboro, NJ (KTEB) on a dedicated 3-pilot account, supported by a dedicated Maintenance Technician and Cabin Attendant. The operation primarily involves Part 91 flying with internal Part 135 operations, averaging approximately 300 hours annually. This role is not commutable and requires the successful candidate to reside within a two-hour radius of KTEB. The account's flying is predominantly domestic (90%), with approximately 10% international operations.
The Pilot in Command holds final responsibility for ensuring the aircraft is operated in a safe, compliant, and efficient manner. This includes strict adherence to all company and regulatory requirements while consistently delivering an exceptional service experience to passengers and owners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensures the safe operation of flight, including compliance with crewing and trip assignments based on company and regulatory requirements.
- Completes all necessary flight planning, performance calculations, and weight and balance tasks.
- Leads required briefings using Threats, Plans, and Considerations (TPC) methodology to effectively mitigate operational risks.
- Complies strictly with company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and coordinates with company personnel as necessary.
- Acts as the Ground Security and In-Flight Security Coordinator in accordance with company policy.
- Executes all aircraft pre-flight tasks, verifies the maintenance status to ensure mission readiness, and accurately records all aircraft discrepancies per company SOPs.
- Monitors and ensures the proper accomplishment of all aircraft ground servicing items, such as fueling, oil, and oxygen, adhering to SOPs.
- Conducts passenger briefings in line with company policy and regulations, while providing the highest level of customer service and accommodating special passenger needs.
- Utilizes Crew Resource Management (CRM) and Threat and Error Management (TEM) effectively to ensure clear and timely communication with the crew and support personnel during all phases of flight.
- Delivers an exceptional service experience by providing quality service, identifying enhancement opportunities, investigating service deviations, and resolving conflicts professionally.
- Maintains regulatory and company-required training and recency of experience.
- Complies with the company's Safety Management System (SMS) program and reports safety or non-compliance concerns through appropriate channels.

Qualifications and Requirements:
- Prior experience in corporate or business aviation is required.
- An FAA Type rating in the applicable fleet (Falcon 900LX) is preferred.
- Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position.
- Minimum flight time requirements include:
- Total flight time: 3500 hours
- Multi Engine Land (MEL): 1500 hours
- Pilot in Command: 2000 hours
- PIC MEL: 500 hours
- Instrument: 300 hours
- Jet: 500 hours
Compensation and Benefits:
Executive Jet Management offers a competitive salary range for this Large/Heavy/Premium cabin aircraft position, ranging from $160,000 to $300,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
