Executive Jet Management (Europe) Limited seeks a highly skilled and dedicated Pilot in Command to join its crew. Based in London, UK, this role falls within the Crewmembers area of interest and requires an individual committed to upholding the highest standards of safety and service in executive jet operations.
Purpose of Position:
The Pilot in Command acts as the Aircraft Commander, primarily responsible for ensuring the safe operation of all flights while providing exceptional customer service to guarantee passenger satisfaction and retention.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
The Pilot in Command performs all duties necessary as Aircraft Commander to ensure the safety of flight and passengers. Key responsibilities include:
- Acting as Aircraft Commander, ensuring flight safety in accordance with the aircraft Flight Manual, company Standard Operating Procedures, and applicable legislation.
- Focusing on the safe and efficient operation of flights according to company procedures.
- Confirming the safe navigation of the aircraft, maintaining continuous and independent checks of geographical position and terrain clearance.
- Carrying out all operational procedures and checklists in accordance with the Airplane Flight Manual, Operations Manuals, and as determined by the commander.
- Reporting any occurrence or incident that has endangered or may have endangered safety.
- Reporting any fault, failure, malfunction, or defect believed to affect the airworthiness or safe operation of the aeroplane.
- Providing exemplary customer service at all times to contribute to customer satisfaction and retention.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Candidates for the Pilot in Command position are expected to possess relevant qualifications and experience.
- A Frozen EASA Airline Transport Pilot Licence with appropriate type ratings is required.
- A minimum of 3000 hours Total Time as Captain is preferred.
- Multi-crew experience of at least 500 hours is necessary.
- Extensive European flight experience is essential.
- Strong commercial aviation background (EUOPS and/or AIROPS environment) is an advantage.
- Military or airline training is considered an advantage.
- Fluency in English is required; knowledge of two or more European languages is an advantage.
- Demonstration of excellent performance is expected.
- The ability to pass an upgrade course (Ground school and SIM) and complete line training as a Captain is necessary (dispensation may be received for Direct Entry Captains on Non-Commercial Operations).
- Being based within a 3-hour drive from Lisbon is preferred.
- Type rating on the EMB505 is preferred.
