Pilot in Command Citation CE-560XLS
Executive Jet Management, a subsidiary of NetJets and a leader in aircraft management and worldwide jet charter services, seeks a highly skilled and experienced Pilot in Command to join its team. This position supports a managed client and part 135 charter operations, operating a Citation 560XLS aircraft.
Responsibilities:
The Pilot in Command is responsible for the safe, compliant, and efficient operation of the aircraft. This includes:
- Ensuring safe flight operations: Complying with company and regulatory requirements, conducting thorough flight planning, utilizing threat, plans, and considerations (TPC) briefings, adhering to company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and coordinating with company personnel as required.
- Delivering exceptional service: Providing quality service to owners and passengers, identifying opportunities to enhance the EJM service experience, and resolving service deviations.
- Maintaining proficiency and compliance: Maintaining required training and recency of experience, adhering to the company Safety Management System (SMS) program, and reporting any safety or non-compliance concerns.
Specific responsibilities include:
- Ensuring crewing and trip assignments comply with company and regulatory requirements.
- Completing flight planning, performance, and weight and balance tasks for each assignment.
- Leading required briefings and mitigating operational risks.
- Acting as the Grounds Security and In-Flight Security Coordinator as defined by company policy.
- Completing pre-flight tasks, including ensuring the aircraft is mission-capable, recording discrepancies, and monitoring and completing ground servicing items.
- Conducting passenger briefings in accordance with company policy and regulation.
- Utilizing Crew Resource Management (CRM) and Threat and Error Management (TEM) to communicate with crew and support personnel effectively.
Qualifications:
- FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate
- First Class Medical Certificate
- Minimum 4-6 years of experience
- Prior experience in corporate/business aviation preferred
- FAA Type Rating in applicable fleet
- Minimum time requirements:
- Total flight time: 3500 hours
- Multi Engine Land (MEL): 1500 hours
- Pilot in Command: 2000 hours
- PIC MEL: 500 hours
- Instrument: 300 hours
- Jet: 500 hours

Location:
This position is based in Bridgeport, CT, with the majority of trips originating and departing from BDR airport. Preference is given to experienced corporate pilots residing in the Eastern Time Zone within driving distance to a major airport hub.
