Pilot in Command - CL3500
Executive Jet Management, a subsidiary of NetJets and part of the world's largest private aviation infrastructure, is seeking a highly qualified Pilot in Command (PIC) for a CL3500 aircraft based at Allegheny County Airport, PA (KAGC). This position is part of a three-pilot operation supported by a Maintenance Technician, operating under Part 135 regulations.
As PIC, the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all flights are conducted in a safe, compliant, and efficient manner. This includes adhering to all company and regulatory requirements while delivering an exceptional service experience for passengers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Flight Safety:
- Ensure compliance with crewing and trip assignments according to company and regulatory requirements.
- Complete flight planning, performance calculations, and weight and balance tasks as needed.
- Lead required briefings utilizing Threats, Plans, and Considerations (TPC) methodology to mitigate operational risks.
- Adhere to company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and coordinate with company personnel as required.
- Act as Grounds Security and In-Flight Security Coordinator as defined by company policy.
- Conduct thorough pre-flight inspections to ensure aircraft readiness and record any discrepancies according to SOPs.
- Monitor and ensure all ground servicing items (e.g., fueling, oil, oxygen) are completed in accordance with SOPs.
- Deliver comprehensive passenger briefings in compliance with company policy and regulations, providing exceptional customer service and addressing any special needs (e.g., physically challenged).
- Utilize Crew Resource Management (CRM) and Threat and Error Management (TEM) to communicate clearly and efficiently with crew and support personnel during normal, abnormal, and emergency operations.
- Exceptional Service:
- Provide high-quality service to owners and passengers, identifying opportunities to enhance the EJM service experience.
- Proactively investigate and resolve any service deviations.
- Collaborate with fellow crew members and EJM internal partners to maintain a consistent service experience for owners and passengers.
- Resolve conflicts and challenges professionally and effectively.
- Proficiency and Compliance:
- Maintain regulatory and company-required training and recency of experience.
- Comply with the company's Safety Management System (SMS) program and report safety or non-compliance concerns through appropriate channels.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 4-6 years of experience.
- Prior experience in corporate/business aviation is preferred.
- FAA Type rating in applicable fleet.
- Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position.
- Minimum Time Requirements:
- Total flight time: 3500 hours
- Multi Engine Land (MEL): 1500 hours
- Pilot in Command: 2000 hours
- PIC MEL: 500 hours
- Instrument: 300 hours
- Jet: 500 hours
Compensation:
Base Salary Range: $110,000 - $432,000
