About the Role
The Second in Command (SIC) is a vital member of the flight crew, reporting administratively to the Chief Pilot and operationally to the Pilot-in-Command (PIC) during flight. This role involves assisting the PIC in preparing for and conducting safe and efficient domestic flight operations. Key responsibilities include maintaining a high level of customer service, adhering to company procedures, ensuring flight safety, and performing essential duties such as passenger greetings, assistance with seating and luggage, and conducting passenger briefings. The SIC must also be prepared to perform other assigned duties as required.

Qualifications

ATP certificate.

FAA First Class Medical certificate.

At least 2,000 hours Total Time (Fixed Wing).

At least 200 hours of Multi-Engine Time.

Valid Passport.

Ability to obtain and maintain CANPASS authorization for unrestricted travel to/from Canada as a commercial pilot.

Appropriate Type Rating.

Working knowledge of all Federal Aviation Regulations applicable to Part 135.

Thorough knowledge of FAA, ICAO, & other international flight operations regulations.
