flyExclusive is seeking a qualified Second In Command (SIC) to join their team in an undisclosed location. The SIC will support the Pilot-in-Command (PIC) in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of company aircraft, specifically under Part 135 regulations, while delivering exceptional customer service.
About the Role
The Second In Command (SIC) is an integral part of flight operations, reporting administratively to the Chief Pilot and operationally to the Pilot-in-Command (PIC) during flight. This role involves assisting the PIC in the meticulous preparation and execution of safe and efficient aircraft operations, strictly adhering to Federal Aviation Regulations and established company procedures. Key responsibilities include conducting domestic trip assignments, ensuring a high level of customer service, maintaining current medical certification, and upholding a professional demeanor. The SIC will also be responsible for passenger interactions, including greetings, seating assistance, luggage management, and conducting passenger briefings.
Requirements

Working knowledge of all Federal Aviation Regulations applicable to Part 135.

Thorough knowledge of FAA, ICAO, & other international flight operations regulations.

Strong organizational skills and advanced multi-tasking abilities.

Effective interpersonal, verbal/written communication, and presentation skills.

Computer proficiency in word processing, email, and web-based/mobile applications.

Passionate attention to detail and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.

Ability to maintain a well-groomed appearance and adhere to company dress code standards.

ATP certificate.

Valid FAA First Class Medical certificate.

Minimum of 2,000 hours Total Time (Fixed Wing).

Minimum of 200 hours of Multi-Engine Time.

Valid Passport.

Ability to obtain and maintain CANPASS authorization for unrestricted travel to/from Canada as a commercial pilot.

Appropriate Type Rating.

Authorization to work lawfully in the United States, requiring two forms of Federal Identification.

Successful completion of a comprehensive background check, including verification of previous employment, education, and criminal history.
