Second In Command (SIC)
flyExclusive is seeking a qualified and highly motivated Second In Command (SIC) to join its flight operations team. This is a full-time, fully remote position based in Kinston, NC, operating on a swing shift schedule. The Second In Command will report administratively to the Chief Pilot and operationally to the Pilot-in-Command (PIC) during flight. He/She will assist the PIC in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of company aircraft in accordance with Federal Aviation Regulations and company procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure safe and efficient flight operations for all trip assignments, maintaining a high level of customer service.
- Adhere to all duties and responsibilities outlined in company procedures manuals.
- Maintain a current first-class medical certificate and report any medical condition that may impair the ability to perform flight duties.
- Maintain a high degree of professionalism, coordinating and leading the crew effectively.
- Greet passengers, assist with seating, and manage luggage storage.
- Conduct passenger briefings and address passenger requests/needs.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.

Dress Code and Uniform:

Travel:
- On-call position with 5 hard days off per month.
- Home base is TMB.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Salary: $45,000.
- Per diem: $66 per day (domestic), $85 per day (international) when overnight away from base.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must be authorized to work lawfully in the United States.
- Strong organizational skills and advanced multi-tasking abilities.

- Proficient in word processing, email, and web-based applications.

- FAA First Class Medical Certificate.
- Commercial Single Engine Land with Instrument Rating.
- IFR Proficiency and Currency.
- Home base is TMB.
- 500 total flight hours, including:
- 250 hours PIC
- 100 hours cross-country
- 25 hours night
- Comprehensive knowledge of the General Operations Manual, FAA Regulations, Operations Specifications, Flight Manuals, Standard Operating Procedures, and other pertinent information.
- Ability to complete the training program and demonstrate proficiency.
- Successful completion of a comprehensive background check prior to employment.
- Compliance with FAA regulations for Safety-Sensitive roles, including pre-employment and random drug and alcohol testing.
