Second In Command (SIC) - Fully Remote

Summary and Objective:
The Second In Command reports administratively to the Chief Pilot and to the Pilot-in-Command (PIC) during flight operations. The SIC assists the PIC in preparing for and ensuring the safe and efficient operation of company aircraft, adhering to Federal Aviation Regulations and company procedures.
Essential Functions:
- Ensures safe and efficient flight operations for domestic trip assignments under Part 135 regulations, while maintaining a high level of customer service.
- Adheres to all duties and responsibilities as outlined in company procedure manuals.
- Maintains a current first-class medical certificate and notifies the company of any medical conditions that may impair flight duties.
- Maintains a high degree of professionalism, coordinating and leading the crew effectively.
- Greets passengers, assists with seating, and manages luggage storage.
- Conducts passenger briefings and addresses passenger requests and needs.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
- This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment:
- Exposure to loud noises from aircraft machinery and jet engines.
- Typical outdoor and industrial/hangar environments.
- Exposure to extreme temperatures due to travel requirements.
- Typical business aircraft interior, potentially tight spaces.

Qualifications:
Required Education and Experience:
- Working knowledge of all Federal Aviation Regulations applicable to Part 135.
- Thorough knowledge of FAA, ICAO, & other international flight operations regulations.
- Strong organizational skills & advanced multi-tasking abilities.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal/written, and presentation skills.
- Computer skills to operate word processing, email, web-based, and mobile device applications.
- Passionate attention to detail and the ability to work in a team atmosphere.
- Ability to present a well-groomed appearance, adhering to company standards.
- ATP complete.
- FAA First Class Medical.
- At least 2,000 hours Total Time (Fixed Wing).
- At least 250 hours of Multi-Engine Time.
- Valid Passport.
- Ability to obtain and maintain CANPASS authorization for unrestricted travel to/from Canada as a commercial pilot.
- Appropriate Type Rating.
- This position is classified as a Safety-Sensitive role under Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations and is subject to pre-employment and random drug and alcohol testing in accordance with FAA guidelines.
- Must be authorized to work lawfully in the United States and provide two forms of Federal Identification.
- Successful completion of a comprehensive background check, including verification of previous employment, education, criminal history, and other relevant information.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- ATP Complete.
- At least 2500 hours of Total Time (Fixed Wing).
- At least 500 hours of multi-engine time.
- Type rating in a Challenger or Regional Jet.
