Eurowings | A320 First Officer

Eurowings, a leading value airline within the Lufthansa Group, is seeking a dedicated and skilled First Officer (m/f/d) A320 (non type-rated) to join its expanding team. This is a full-time, permanent position based at one of our key locations: BER, CGN, DUS, HAM, or STR.

As a valued member of the Wingsfamily, the First Officer will contribute to providing safe, comfortable, and sustainable air travel for passengers across Europe, the Middle East, and North Africa. The role involves shared responsibility for the crew and aircraft, working collaboratively within a dynamic team environment. Eurowings operates a fleet of approximately 100 aircraft, with plans for further expansion with A320/A321neo aircraft. The airline’s extensive route network features over 100 destinations, ensuring a diverse and engaging work schedule for its pilots. Eurowings maintains 11 international bases, including Palma de Mallorca, employing approximately 4,000 individuals throughout Europe.

The successful candidate will possess strong flying skills, be a decisive team player, and demonstrate excellent communication abilities.

Key responsibilities include:

• Ensuring a safe, comfortable, and sustainable flight experience for all passengers.
• Collaborating with the crew as a cohesive team, and assuming shared responsibility for the aircraft.

Essential qualifications and skills:

• Excellent flying skills coupled with strong teamwork and decision-making abilities.
• Proficiency in German (minimum B2 level) and English (minimum ICAO Language Proficiency Level 4).
• EASA ATPL (A) or CPL (A) with ATPL Credit issued in Germany.
• Multi Engine IR Rating.
• Advanced UPRT Training in accordance with EASA.FCL.745.
• General higher education entrance qualification or technical college entrance qualification.
• Medical Class I (issued in Germany) including a negative drug test.
• Valid security clearance, potentially including a criminal record certificate.
• EU citizenship or valid residence and work permit.
• Unrestricted, valid passport.
• MCC certification.
