Job Description
This role offers the opportunity to operate within the extensive European route network of Eurowings. The selected candidate will receive high-quality training, with an employment contract and renumeration commencing from the first day of training. There is a potential for upgrade to Captain with 3000 block hours, based on operational demand. The employer covers hotel accommodation, travel expenses, and associated proceedings during training conducted away from the home base. Furthermore, the candidate will receive an absence allowance for flight duties from the first hour. They will have access to Lufthansa employee benefits, including reduced flight and vacation offers within the global networks of Eurowings, Lufthansa, and their partner airlines. Qualifications and Requirements
Applicants must possess an EASA ATPL(A) or CPL(A) with ATPL credit, or MPL(A) without operator bonding. A German or Austrian license is preferred. An A320 type rating is highly desirable. Candidates should hold a multi-engine IR rating and have completed Advanced UPRT Training as per EASA.FCL.745.A. A valid MCC certificate is also required. The successful candidate must have an entrance qualification for an advanced technical college, high school degree, university entrance exam, or have completed vocational training. They should possess strong oral and written English language skills, at a minimum ICAO Language Proficiency Level 4. A valid Medical Class I certificate is mandatory, along with a negative drug test, valid background check, and EU citizenship. Non-EU citizens must hold a valid residence and work permit for Spain, Sweden, or the Czech Republic. An unrestricted passport validity is also necessary.
