Minimum Qualification Requirements for Experienced Boeing Pilots

Prospective candidates for these challenging and rewarding aviation careers must satisfy the following stringent qualification requirements: A minimum of 2,500 hours of total flying time is mandatory. This extensive experience must include at least 1,500 hours accumulated on multi-crew aircraft, advanced glass cockpit platforms, or high-performance military jets. Furthermore, a minimum of 500 hours of flight experience on any Boeing aircraft type is essential, and applicants must be currently type-rated and actively flying on a Boeing aircraft.
A valid ICAO current and unrestricted Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL) is a prerequisite; Frozen ATPLs are not accepted, with the sole exception of those held by citizens of the UAE. Candidates must also possess an unrestricted, current Class 1 Medical Certificate. The maximum age for applicants at the time of application is 45 years. Demonstrated English Language Fluency, both written and verbal, at ICAO Level 4 or higher, is also a mandatory requirement for all pilot applicants. For flight hours accumulated on operations including in-flight relief, 75% of the total recorded hours will be applied towards fulfilling the specified minimum flight time requirements.
