Ethiopian Airlines Group is currently inviting qualified international applicants to apply for the position of Expat Captain B777. This role offers an opportunity to join a premier aviation organization, operating as part of an elite flight crew.

Qualifications and Requirements

To be considered for the Expat Captain B777 position, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Licensing: Must hold a current and valid JAA, FAA, or ICAO ATPL or CPL.
• Type Rating: Must possess a valid B777/B787 type rating.
• Flight Experience: A minimum of 3,500 total flying hours is required, including:
  • 2,500 hours as Pilot in Command on jet aircraft.
  • A minimum of 500 hours of Command time specifically on the B777.
• Language Proficiency: Must demonstrate English language proficiency at ICAO Level 4 or higher.
• Age Limit: Applicants must be 60 years of age or younger.
• Operational Currency: Candidates must be current and qualified, having completed a proficiency check within the last three months.

Additional Documentation and Standards

Applicants are expected to maintain an excellent standard of English and possess a clean safety record, with no history of accidents or incidents. Furthermore, candidates must hold a current, valid medical certificate and a passport with at least two years of remaining validity.
