Job Description
Ethiopian Airlines Group is seeking qualified international candidates for the position of Expat Captain on the B737 aircraft.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Age: Not more than 60 years old.
- Must hold a current and valid JAA/FAA or ICAO ATPL.
- Must possess a current B737 type rating.
- Must hold a valid Class 1 medical certificate.
- Must have an ICAO English proficiency level of 4 or above.
Minimum Flight Time
- 3500 hours of jet time.
- 2500 hours as Pilot in Command on jet aircraft.
- Command time in excess of 500 hours on B737NG/Max aircraft.
Additional Requirements
- Applicants must be current and qualified, with proficiency checks completed within the last three months.
- Must possess a valid passport with at least two years of validity.
- Must have a current and valid medical certificate.
- Must have no history of accidents or incidents.
- Must demonstrate excellent standards of English.

Screening is held weekly, Monday to Friday, in Addis Ababa. The assessment process typically requires two days. Travel on the Ethiopian Airlines network, 5-star hotel accommodations, and ground transportation are provided for assessments.
