Job Opportunity: B737 Captain

We are seeking highly qualified and experienced pilots to join our flight operations team. The ideal candidate will hold a current B737 type rating and meet our rigorous safety and flight time standards.

Candidate Qualifications

Age: Maximum 60 years old.
License: Must hold a current and valid JAA, FAA, or ICAO ATPL.
Rating: Current B737 type rating.
Medical: Valid Class 1 medical certificate.
Language: ICAO English level 4 or above.
Recency: Must be current and qualified (within three months of last proficiency check).
Documentation: Valid two-year passport, no history of accidents or incidents.

Minimum Flight Experience

Total Jet Time: 3,500 hours.
Pilot in Command (Jet): 2,500 hours.
B737NG/Max Command Time: In excess of 500 hours.

Screening and Assessment

Assessments are held weekly from Monday to Friday in Addis Ababa, with immediate dates available. The selection process requires two days to complete. Candidates are provided with travel via the Ethiopian Airlines network, five-star hotel accommodations, and ground transportation.
